With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Jeffrey Gowing (Kelowna, British Columbia), born in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on December 28, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven Jeffrey Gowing to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dalton Gowing and Joan Gowing; and his uncle Fishing (Bernard Nurse). He is survived by: his brothers, John, Dennis, Robert, Brad, Brian and Mark Gowing (Tina); his significant other Kelly; his stepchildren, Ashley (Jory Horeman) and Matthew Carter; his son Nicholas Gowing; his grandchildren, Jorn, Freja Horeman, Jordyn Jean Gowing, Dillion, Alessia, Dalton Cavallo, Liam, Logan and Fin Sanchez; his aunt Marion Nurse; and his mother-in-law Evelyn Black. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a celebration of life in July, 2021. (COVID permitting).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steven's name to Kelowna or London (Ont.) Mental Health Association.
