He was predeceased by: his wife Yemiko; his parents, Shigeru and Kazu; and his siblings, Hikaru (Chic), Akira (Shorty), Teruo (Ted), Minoru (Min), Emiko and Mieko (Mae).
He is survived by: his children, Carelyn (Wayne), Wade (Kelly), Janice and Brenda (Jason); his grandchildren, Jordan, Robynne (Max), Christopher (Emily), Isabella, Mackenzie, Sophia, Nathan, Hannah and Alexandria; his great grandchildren, Victoria and Parker; and his sister-in-law Miyeko (Howard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
