We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Robert Shopland (Kelowna, British Columbia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Agnes; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Johanna Erickson; and his siblings, Margaret Andre, Ina Hayden, Bette Williamson, Queenie Mae Hodder, Jim, Joe, Phillip and Jack.

He is survived by: his wife Louise Erickson; his children, Rod (Lois), Tim (Marlene) and Miriam (Brent Keith); his sister Helen Thompson; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Mills and Margaret Shopland. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews & nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1162 Hudson Rd, West Kelowna, BC V1Z1J3).

A donation in Robert Shopland's memory may be made to his church, Grace Lutheran (Grace Lutheran Church, 1162 Hudson Road, West Kelowna, BC V1Z 1J3), or you may give a donation to the Battle River Historical Society (P.O. Box 2994 Wainwright, Alberta T9W 1S9) if so desired.
