He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sr. and Roberta; his siblings, Richard, Elizabeth and Grace; and his former wife Mildred.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Thomas Bruce (Patricia) and Laurel Kovacic (Willy); his brothers, Robert Northrup (Eva) of Moncton, NB and Ronald Northrup (Diane) of Bathurst, NB; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Best and Dawn Haines. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
