Otto left this world on May 31, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Kakoschke and Leokadia Kakoschke; his siblings, Cornelius, Rudy and Lucy; and his son Darryl.

He is survived by: his wife Trudy Kakoschke; his daughter Sharon (Wayne); and his grandchildren, Natasha (Ben), Nathan, Dillon (Jacqueline) and Chantel. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
