It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Mae Johnson (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Mary Mae is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Mary Mae's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Allan; her son Roger; her daughter-in-law Lisa; and her parents, Ethel Williams and Archie Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara (Kerry) of Kelowna, BC and Doug of Nanaimo, BC; her daughter-in-law Shirley; her granddaughters, Cheryl and Michelle; her great grandchildren, Sophia of West Kelowna, BC. and Emma of West Kelowna, BC.; and her siblings, Ethel Bonnar (Don Hawkins) of Port Alberni, BC and Stan Williams of Yorkton, SK. She is also survived by her family and many close friends.
