With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Wendy Loewen (Kelowna, British Columbia), born in Victoria, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her mother Joy Whyte; her in-laws, Jacob and Helen Loewen; and her daughter Carissa Loewen. She is survived by: her husband Greg Loewen; her children, Steven Loewen, Sabrina Elliott (Jim) and Melissa Jahn (Justin); her grandchildren, Carissa, Alyssa, Oakley and Gavin; her father Edward Whyte; and her sisters, Debbie Jennings, Penny Johns (Ken) and Tammy Kundakcioglu (Alex). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
