Johanna Dessens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Johanna Dessens (Kelowna, British Columbia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Johanna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Johanna. Though Johanna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Dr. Peter Dessens (Jacqueline Kane), John Dessens, Claudine Dessens (Dwight Tucker) and Beda Dessens (Jim MacKenzie); her grandchildren, Chris Dessens and Stephen Haas; and her husband Jan Dessens.

In memory of Johanna, donations to the Parkinson Society British Columbia are welcomed.
