It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jan Janosik (Kelowna, British Columbia), who passed away at the age of 79, on February 20, 2025. As Jan departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jan. Though Jan may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan and Anna; and his brother Alexander. He is survived by: his wife Beata; his daughters, Sandra (Gordon) and Kristina (Dan); and his grandchildren, Anna, John, Stella, Eva, James and Benjamin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Garnier Parish (3645 Benvoulin Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W4M7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
