We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2024, at the age of 93, James G. McMynn (Kelowna, British Columbia), born in Midway, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil McMynn and Ruth McMynn; and his wife Louise A. McMynn. He is survived by: his children, James B. McMynn (Kim), Graham McMynn, Douglas McMynn (Jolly), Margo Corrado (Dean) and Susan Talarico (Michael); his grandchildren, Robert, Chloe, Caitlin, Nikki, Tasha, Tia, Anthony, Melaina, Elana, Brandon and Brieana; his great grandchildren, Ascher, Parker, Hudson and Karston; and his sister Joan Finnie.
He devoted countless hours to serving others, earning him not one, but two Queen's Jubilee Awards for his outstanding contributions to the welfare of Midway and its residents.
