She was predeceased by: her husband Hamilton; her son David; and her siblings, Thelma, Connie and Doug.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn and Ronald (Martha); her children-in-law, Jane and Mark; her grandchildren, Beth, Laura, Julie, Cam, Brennan and Mackenzie; her children, Shawinigan and Montreal; and her sister Cheryl. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she gave her time to many charities, most notably the Save the Children Foundation and Meals on Wheels.
