He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Elizabeth; his brothers, Rodger and Alan; and his sister-in-law Glenda.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Dale Thompson; his sons, Tyler (Loreen) and Ryan; his grandson Noah; his brother Murray (Noreen); his sister-in-law Idabelle "Bella" Hodgkinson; his niece Michelle Hodgkinson-Kristof; his nephew-in-law John Kristof; and his sisters, Dawn Brown and Lynda Legate (Larry).
Contribution to the club, and in 2017 received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kelowna and District Fish and Game Club, which kept him engaged and fulfilled during his retirement.
