He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Jean; his sons, Daniel Edward and Jamie Adam; his grandchildren, Liydia Chaise and Adam Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Lorraine (Joe Matilda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
