She was predeceased by: her significant other Jack Thiessen; her brother Tony Shivak; and her parents, Anthony Shivak and Helen Shivak. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell (Donna), Carla (late Clay), Mark (Lisa) and Angie (Brenda); her sister Louise Melenko (Larry); and her sisters-in-law, Kathy (late Tony) and Delores Chandler (John). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Charles Garnier Parish (3645 Benvoulin Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W4M7).
