She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy Greenaway and William Greenaway; her brothers, Dave and Harold Greenaway; and her nieces, Ivy Matheson and Patricia Larsen.

She is survived by: her husband Alwin; her sons, Craig Heise and Darrin Heise (Kristal); her grandchildren, Zachary Heise (Caitlin Ferguson), Brandon and Alyssa Heise; her great grandchild Jaxon Heise; and her brothers, Tom Greenaway (Judy) and Fred Greenaway (Lynn).
