It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Joan Stanley of Kelowna, British Columbia, born in Maidstone, Saskatchewan, who passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sister Annie "Jean" Nelson; and her parents, Fritz Nelson and Alice Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Stanley; her children, Kerry Logan (Bill Walraven), Craig Stanley (Heather) and Gayle Riendeau (Michael); her grandchildren, Sean Logan, Quinn Logan, Kyle Wardlow (Cassidy), Quinn Wardlow (Alison), Kendra Stanley (Damian Nielsen), Brett Riendeau, Chad Riendeau and Brenae Riendeau (Tom Troyer); and her great grandchildren, Kallen, Maddex Wardlow, Lilah, Evalyn Kilback, Luca and Daxton Nielsen. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Her musical abilities were generously shared with others through volunteering, particularly with the Alzheimer Support Group in Kelowna, where she provided entertainment that brought joy to many.
