Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Beate Bauer in Kelowna, British Columbia, who passed away at the age of 82, on January 1, 2021. She is survived by: her children, Joachim "Joe" (Caroline) and Karin (Lisa); her husband Franz; and her grandchildren, Christine, Andrea and Thomas. She is also survived by her mother, 3 older brothers and 2 sisters.

The family visited her as often as they could even during COVID restrictions.
