She was predeceased by: her husband R. Colin. She is survived by: her children, Janet Salvino (Jack), William Mills (Joy) and Joan Guido (Peter); her grandchildren, Jacqueline Salvino (Shaunn), Kathleen Walden (Ian), Nathaniel Guido (Lisa) and Tessa Guido (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Miabella Salvino and Madison Guido; her siblings, Florence Schaufler, David Pylatuk (Liz) and June Leslie (Ron); and her grandsons, Joshua Guido and Nicholas Guido. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Kamloops Art Gallery, honoring Vera's lifelong passion for painting.
