He was predeceased by: his daughter Diane; his parents, Louis and Margaret; and his brothers, Lefty, Ken and Garry.

He is survived by: his wife Enid Stewart of Kamloops; his son Bruce (Helen) of Sydney Australia; his grandchildren, Courtney and Michael (Lucy) of Sydney Australia; and his sisters-in-law, Janet and Dorothy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
