She was predeceased by: her husband Tony; her siblings, Allan, Edward and Carol; her daughter Debra Berard; her grandson Nicholas Strate; her great grandchild Tilley; and her parents, Leta and Jack.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Blackburn (Janet) of Albany, Sandy Strate (Bob) of Kamloops, B. C., Lee Blackburn of Nelson, B. C. and Brad Blackburn (Brenda) of Kamloops, B. C.; her grandchildren, John (Anna Christina), Markie (Anthony), Alanna (Sergio), Bailey (Eric), Justin (Stephanie), Kyra (Rob), Ashley (Trevor), Roz (Brad) and Robert; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Jeremy, Tessa, Weston, John, Alexandra, Eva, Christina, Beau, Harlo, Santiago and Wren; and her friends, May Ekland and Dot Faulk.
