She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Pieter Tazelaar; her siblings, Cor, Tony, Dick, Henk and Margaret; her husband Henry Ekkel; and her children, George (Lyne), Rick (Kim) and Colleen (Emilio). She was also cherished by 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
