She was predeceased by: her son John Gowans; her former husband Jack Gowans; her husband Doug Toombs; her grandson Luke Ward; and her brother Jack Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Roberta Gowans (Perry Deep), Robert Gowans (Colleen) and Elaine Ward (Joe); her daughter-in-law Mary Gowans; her grandchildren, Arlana Phillips (Kasey), Lora Higgins (Darryl), Lynnaea Rawlings (Scott), Rhonda Buchanan (Tyler), Erin Motley (Quentin), Jordan Gowans (Erica), Lindsay Fleming (Wayne), John Gowans (Shannon), Jacob Gowans (Ashley), Mathew Ward (Erin), Diana Fraser (Alex) and Darren Gowans (Megan); her great grandchildren, Kord, Peri, Alana, Emalee, Aubree, Elsie, Gage, Tess, Easton, Ryann, Ensley, Lane, Hunter, Joni, Alivia, Holly, Wyatt, Colton, Rae-Lee (Jonathan), Cole, Emmit, Bobbi-Lynn, Mathias, Tyler, Mason, Lee, Eric, Heidi, Jackson and Maddi; her sister Doreen Field; and her sister-in-law Pat Hamilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
