He was predeceased by: his children, Gerry Maurer and Elaine Horning. He is survived by: his children, Marie McCaskill (Rod), Wayne Maurer and David Maurer (Andria). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (635 Tranquille Rd, Kamloops, BC V2B3H5).
