It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hannah Hanako Tabata (Kamloops, British Columbia), who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her son-in-law Stan Voykin; her siblings, Jane Ebata and Ted Kawai; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Onodera, Toyo Ebata, Saburo Tabata, Takao Tabata, Takeo Nakano, Fumiko Nakano and Nobue Tabata.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Voykin and Les Tabata (Colleen); her sister Jenny Onodera; her sister-in-law Toshiko Kawai; her grandchildren, Dean Voykin (Jess), Spencer Voykin, Nicola Tabata (Logan Scott) and Aiden Tabata; and her great grandchildren, Rhys and Quinn Voykin. She is also survived by extended family consists of numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
