He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Vetere and Giuseppina Vetere; and his wife Carmela Vetere. He is survived by: his children, Giuseppina Fischer (Josie), Lucia Vetere (Lucy), Giuseppe Peppe Vetere (Joe), Josie Fischer, Lucy Vetere and Joe Vetere (Kari); his grandchildren, Noah Fischer, Daine Kozak, Thomas Durr and Hannah Vetere; and his sister Nina Jacoy (Joe Jacoy).
