She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Swendson and Theodore Swendson (Ted); and her brother Ted. She is survived by: her brother Bernie Swendson (Louise); her children, Brenda Fukala (Charlie), Konrad DeFoe (Teresa), Ross DeFoe (Tannis), Sandy Hollstedt (Tony Wooster) and Lisa DeFoe (Bob McArthur); her grandchildren, Jason (Tori), Ryan (Ally), Anthony, Victoria (Donna), Carly, Patrick, John (Caitlin) and Kirsten (Brock); and her close friend Tia. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, a nephew, nieces and cousins.
