He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen MacKenzie and Florence MacKenzie; his brothers, Ivan, Kenny and Ross MacKenzie; and his granddaughters, Baylie and Isabella Presta.
He is survived by: his wife Leanne Chabot; his children, Tanya Presta (Ross) and Donnie MacKenzie of Calgary; his grandson Tristan MacKenzie of Calgary; his siblings, Ronnie MacKenzie (Sheila) of Nova Scotia, Linda Deale of Nova Scotia, Barbie MacKenzie of Nova Scotia, Eileen Myers of Nova Scotia, Donna Elliott (Paul) of Nova Scotia and Carol Vatcher (Rob) of New Brunswick; and his sister-in-law Mary MacKenzie of Nova Scotia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donation can be made in his name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
