He was predeceased by: his sister Julie Kreklau; and his parents, Jim Atherton and Sheila Atherton. He is survived by: his daughter Stacey (Ted); his wife Joyce; his son Scott (Nicole); his grandchildren, Cally, Ben, Brinly and Tatym; and his siblings, Tom, Terry, Mike (Dean) and Karyn (Greg).
