She was predeceased by: her parents, David Tate and Marion Tate; her siblings, Bob and June; her brother-in-law Peter Chichak; and her husband Doug.

She is survived by: her children, Laurie Bolten, Roberta (Mark Wax), Rod (Sherie Guild) and Dave (Amarie Guild); her grandchildren, Hannah, Drew, Blair, Stephanie, Doug, Madelynn and Olivia; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Charlie, Gwen, Barry, Jack and Harriet.

In that spirit, a memorial donation to her favourite charity, the Canadian Red Cross, can be made if you wish in lieu of flowers.
