He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Mario Simoncig and Ivanka Covaceuszach; his brothers, Gino, Elio, Mario and Danilo; and his parents, Guiseppe Covaceuszach and Maria Covaceuszach.

He is survived by: his sister Paola Simoncig of Stregna, Italy.. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
