He was predeceased by: his wife Lil; his children, Murray and Darlene; his parents, Cliff Cruthers and Naomi Cruthers; and his siblings, Gary Cruthers, Wendy Eberhardt and Kathleen Cruthers.

He is survived by: his children, Bob Cruthers (Kelly) of Invermere, BC and Lori Cruthers (Tihamer) of London, ON; his grandchildren, Amanda Durocher (Chad), Keaton Cruthers (Lindsay), McLean Cruthers (Rebecca) and Dawson Cruthers (Helena); his great grandchild Josh Durocher; and his siblings, Janet (Ken), Shepherd (Edmonton), Maureen Brower (Edmonton), Allister (Linda) and Bill (Athabasca).
