He was predeceased by: his son Glen; and his son-in-law Paul Ovesen. He is survived by: his wife Lilly; his children, John (Roz) and Kathleen (Pierre); his stepdaughters, Dawn (Lyle), Wendy and Laurie (Max); his sister-in-law Anita (Rick); and his grandchildren, Ray, Christopher, Eric, Angie, Kyle, Garrett, Shane, Cody, Dylan, Chris, Candice and Breanna. He is also survived by great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
