He was predeceased by: his son David; and his siblings, Henry, Peter, John, Sally Neufeld and Anne Hildebrandt.

He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; his daughter Kathleen Potter (Gordon); his grandchildren, Eric, Aimee and Oliver Potter (Jerry Ericsson); his siblings, Walter Braul (Erna) and Lydia Harder; and his close friends, Jim and Gord. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Golden and District Community Foundation would be appreciated.
