We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2024, at the age of 67, John Makkreel (Fernie, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Vinetta. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Bill, Robert (Therese) and Katherine (Chris); his grandchildren, Donovan, Raymond, Blayne and Haelyn; his sister Vinetta (Huntley); and his caregiver John.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the local hospice or the cancer society.
