He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Buchanan and Catherine Buchanan (Rushcall); his brother Raymond; his wife Sheila Buchanan (Quail); his daughters, Shelley (John) and Heather (Doug); his grandsons, Bryan (Alexandra), Colin, Matthew (Aleisha), Andrew (Chloe) and Liam (Emily); and his nephews, Keith, Brian, Glen Buchanan, Greg Stewart and Sandy Cervo. He was also cherished by many relatives and friends.
Jack Buchanan succumbed to his battle with Alzheimer's Disease on December 31, 2021 at Rocky Mountain Village in Fernie.
