We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2022, at the age of 69, Douglas Haig Nichol (Fernie, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret and Haig; his sister-in-law Sharon; his brother Rod; and his cousins, Fran and Bill.

He is survived by: his wife Roylene; his son Wade (Heather); his grandchildren, Morgan and Alexandria; his daughter Laura; his stepson David; his grandchildren, Sandy (Jeff), Daniel, Ethan, Makaya and Kallie; his siblings, Cathie Flood (Adam) and Bruce (Terri); and his cousins, Mike, Linda, Pat and Rita. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
