With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Rahal (Fernie, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra; his parents, John and Grace; and his brother Kenny. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Gleisner (Garry), Melanie Serwatkewich (Wilf) and Dawn Rahal; his grandchildren, Tyson (Kayla), Tanner (Kaitlyn), Taylor (Brandon) and Nicole (Joseph); and his great grandchildren, Harlow, Everly and Hayes.
