He was predeceased by: his sons, Lee Saunders and Ian Saunders; his parents, Albert Saunders and Gladys Saunders; and his brother Bryan Saunders.
He is survived by: his wife Bridie; his grandchildren, Holly, Connor and Parker Saunders; his great grandchild Josie; his daughter-in-law Darla; his siblings, Marlene Simpson and William Saunders; and his grandchild Lee. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
