He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Blades and Lillian Blades (Garrison). He is survived by: his sons, Max (Alexandra) and Duncan (Alexis); his wife Vicky (Zellenskey); his siblings, Jim (Gayle) and Susan Woodburn; his mother-in-law Irene Dumka; and his sister-in-law Tina Burrows (Walt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
