He was predeceased by: his daughter Terri Rebecca McHugh; his siblings, Geraldine Foley (late Carleton), Julia O'Neill (late Owen), Bernadette Pike (Ron), Reginald (late Gertrude), Gerald (Ann), Eddie (Carol), Pat (Cecile) and Eugene (Sharon); and his parents, Gerald McHugh and Rebecca McHugh (Newhook).

He is survived by: his wife Soledad; his daughter Michelle (Jeff); his grandchildren, Marley, Lucas, Lilah and Richard; his brothers, Carl McHugh (Linda) and Bern McHugh (Linda); and his son William. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.
