She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Schmidt and Jacob Schmidt; her husband John; her siblings, Eddie, Edna and Donald; and her niece Laura.

She is survived by: her children, Edward (Mary) and Susan Klasen (Drew Peterson); her grandsons, Bradley (Becky), David Klasen and Jason Pasetka; her great grandchildren, Carston and Caleb Klasen; her brother Robert (Irene); and her son-in-law Charlie Klasen (Marianne).
