He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Isabelle Wood and John Dudley Tolman II; his daughter Lynne; his sisters, Ruth and Betty; and his sons, James and Jack (John Dudley Tolman IV).
He is survived by: his former wife Grace; his sons, Jake and Norman; his wife Nadine; his children, Karren Vachon, Roanna McCormack (Darrin) and David Tolman (Deborah); his grandchildren, Traci, Sonja and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah and Brennan.
No service has been planned at John's request and in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully encourages donations to Cowichan District Hospital Foundation, where John was so well cared for these past seven weeks.
