He was predeceased by: his son Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his children, Naida, John (Heather), Ruth, Elsie (Warren), Mary (Allan) and Gwynneth; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Lisa, Rick, Read, William, Melissa, Nicole, Gwendolyn, Timothy, Sara, Maggi, Andy, Carl and Taryn. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
