She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Barton; her parents, Lucille Larcher and Lucien Remillard; and her siblings, Bernadette Rocheleau, Gerry, Denis, Richard and Marcel Remillard.

She is survived by: her children, Herb Hamilton and Jennifer Lemay; her grandchildren, Soleil and Oliver Hamilton; her extended family, Emily, Jorgia, Dylan and Abigail; and her brothers, Rejean, Louis, Robert and Jean-Guy Remillard.
