It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Auke Elzinga (Duncan, British Columbia), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sye Elzinga and Sophie Elzinga; his brothers, Tony Elzinga and Gerry Elzinga; and his grandson Theron Keel.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Theresa Keel (Michael), Susan Schaad (Thomas) and Kevin Elzinga (Lindsay); his granddaughters, Neila Schaad (Max), Tyra Schaad (Kevin), Haylee Elzinga (Tanner), Alicia Sloan (Justin), Skyla Elzinga and Oakley Elzinga; his great grandchild Holland Murray; and his siblings, Hank (Nancy), Len (Sophie), Wes (Arlea), Jannie (Roland) and Frank (Rhonda).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glenora Hall (3660 Glenora Rd, Duncan, BC V9L6S3).
