He was predeceased by: his former wife Carol Lynne Young; his parents, Margaret Young and James Young; and his siblings, Margaret Atkinson, Kay Neil, Joan Ford and Doug Young.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon (Prentice), Jeff (Anne), Heather (Darren) and Megan (CJ); his grandchildren, Kyle, Samantha, Cole, Mitchell, Gabriel, Cassius and Tiberius; and his great grandchild Ellie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Bob donated generously to BC Children's Hospital Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations are welcomed in his memory.
