He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce; his mother Margaret Appleby; and his brother Lyon (Larae). He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Dianne), Ken Jr. (Jane), Bill (Amy), Jamie (Angèle) and Robert (Carole); his grandchildren, Brian, Jesse, Jocelyn, John, Jerry, Jara, Danny, David of Adam, MJ, Noelle, Emily, Sara, Colin and Laura; and his great grandchildren, Ramona, George, Matilda, Rose, Thomas, Cole, Isabelle and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Meds '54 Bursary Fund at Queen's University or the BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
