She was predeceased by: her parents, John Young and Marjorie Young; and her husband Bryan Funston. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, David, Andrew and Aaron (Candice); her grandchildren, Jacob, Jaxon, Wyatt, Cohen, Siena and Haven; and her siblings, Robert, Lois, Grace and Marjorie.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the West Richmond Gospel Hall (5651 Francis Rd, Richmond, BC V7C1K2).
