She was predeceased by: her son Brian (Elaine); her parents, Thomas and Ivy; her step-mother Evelyn; her husband Denis Carriere; her brothers, Phillip, Melvin, and Vernon

She is survived by: Her brother Donald; her son Thomas (Lenora); her grandchildren, Jay and Rachel; her daughter-in-law Elaine; and her grandchildren-in-law, Lincoln, Jennifer, Whitney, Trevor, and Brianna. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
