Orest Basisty Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orest Basisty (Dawson Creek, British Columbia), born in Mundare, Alberta, who passed away on June 19, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Basisty and Katherine Basisty; his children, Brian (Shannon), Bruce (Janet) and Lorann Shand (Greg); his grandsons, Jacob, Zachary Basisty, Benjamin and Matthew Shand; his sisters, Mary Brandt and Carol Basisty; his wife Mae; and his brothers, Jerry and Bud.
He visited her every day at Peace Villas, until Covid prevented it.
